Introduction & Our Promise
Welcome to Studiofy ("we," "our," or "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.
Our core privacy promise is simple: We do not store your photos on our servers. All image generation and processing happens in a way that ensures your data remains private. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. The only personal information we collect is your email address for secure login and credit access.
Information We Collect (and Don't Collect)
We believe in data minimization. Here is a breakdown of how we handle data:
- Photos: We do not collect or store the photos you upload or the images you generate. They are processed strictly for the purpose of editing and are not saved to our cloud infrastructure.
- Usage Data: We may collect anonymous, non-personal usage data (e.g., app crash logs, performance metrics, or feature popularity) to help us improve the app's stability.
- Email Address (Login Only): To purchase and maintain access to credits across devices, Studiofy requires a simple login using your email address and a one-time password (OTP). We only collect your email for authentication and account access. We do not collect your name, phone number, or other personal information.
- No Marketing Emails: Your email address is used strictly for login and account access. We do not send promotional emails, newsletters, or marketing messages.
Data Storage & Processing
Studiofy operates with a "Local First" and "Transient Processing" philosophy.
Your photos are stored locally on your device. If an image requires cloud processing (for advanced AI generation), it is sent securely to the inference engine, processed immediately, and sent back to your device. The image is not retained or stored on the server after the request is completed.
Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others.
We may share anonymous usage data with trusted analytics providers (like Firebase or Sentry) solely for the purpose of app maintenance. Payment processing is handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and we do not have access to your credit card information.
Device Permissions
To function correctly, Studiofy requires specific permissions:
- Photo Library: Needed to load images for editing and to save your results.
- Camera: Needed if you wish to capture a photo directly within the app.
You may revoke these permissions at any time via your device settings.
Children's Privacy
Our Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us.
